Cheryl is violently attacked and left for dead, when she wakes in a hospital bed, her knight in shining armor, Nathan, is there to help her get back on her feet, with her memory gone, she relies on him for help and guidance as she returns to work, Cheryl begins to get premonitions of other attacks, she gains the ability to summon fire and uses it to help others from gang attacks all the while she notices things that were very wrong with the company she works for when she starts to regain her memory and starts snooping around the office, she finds that nothing is as it seems, Turner & Coleman appear to be dealing in more that just legal advice…This is where she becomes Phoenix.

Jay bumps into Cheryl while on his way to a therapy session, knocking her to the floor but saving her from harm by pulling a cushion from another reality for her to safely land on.

While helping Cheryl come to terms with her new abilities and while searching for others like herself, Danny goes back in-time to change history.

Cheryl learns of a terrible threat by super soldiers lead by someone she thought she could trust, she comes together with Angel, Danny, Flux, Jay and Jessica to put an end to it once and for-all, but there is a price to pay for saving London.

Cheryl learns the truth about Pathfinder and Turner & Coleman and loses her mind when she realises Nathan’s plan all along, she turns to Danny for advice and they decide to reunite the team.

After the death of Angel, Cheryl fails to convince Jennifer to stay with the team, unable to strop her from leaving, she makes sure she is not alone before focusing her attention to Danny who is also going through a terrible time.

Cheryl turns up at the hospital moments after Mel leaves, missing her opportunity to help her, she finds Nathan there acting a little out of the ordinary.

Cheryl notices Ashleigh a number of times, leading Danny and other members of the team to question her sanity, she then begins to struggle to control her powers.

Cheryl and Jennifer continuously argue with each other over how to deal with the WCFPP new laws, as Cheryl begins to regain her powers, Jennifer challenges her for leadership, resulting in a battle that tears apart the boundaries between realities for a moment allowing in the forgotten power.

Cheryl together with Danny find Mel and reunite with Jessica, Jade an Jay.
Jennifer returns with some terrible news and some interesting new abilities and is in no mood to play happy families claiming that Cheryl has gone crazy and attempts to snatch control of the team as Cheryl loses her powers.
